About the Arhuaco
The Arhuaco are an indigenous people of Colombia's Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, which they call the "Heart of the World" and believe to be the spiritual and ecological center that maintains balance for the entire planet. Viewing themselves as "Elder Brothers" with a sacred responsibility to preserve cosmic harmony through spiritual practices, they consider outsiders "Younger Brothers" who have lost their connection to the natural world.
After centuries of protecting their ancient wisdom in isolation, the Arhuaco have recently emerged to share urgent teachings about humanity's relationship with the living Earth, employing what they call "spiritual technology" - including making payments to the land, weaving thoughts into reality, and communicating with the consciousness of mountains and nature.
They believe we are at a critical juncture where humanity must choose between continuing destructive patterns or returning to harmony with Mother Earth, making their prophetic voice and guidance essential for planetary healing and survival.

Mamo Lorenzo Izquierdo Arroyo is an elder and spiritual leader of the Arhuaco people of Colombia's Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. He carries the teachings of his lineage beyond the mountains, sharing them with those who come to listen.
